A monthly message from MOST Center for Global Affairs and Science Engagement (GASE) View newsletter in your browser
The GASE newsletter published in June highlights the achievements of academic and medical institutes in science and technology-based epidemic prevention; these highlights encompass COVID-19 detection, prediction models, AI-assisted diagnosis, and advances in drug studies. It shows that a strong scientific research capability and dedication to basic science are the key supports for Taiwan to assist the international community to overcome COVID-19. Taiwan has already won international respect to fight with COVID-19. In the future, the MOST will muster the collective forces of various ministries to make Taiwan's scientific research capability a trustable model of epidemic prevention.
