Taiwan's development and prospects for digital transformation
Digital transformation is the significant key for Taiwan to become a “smart country.” We are currently in a new era of digital technology revolution and enlightenment. Digitalization and Internet connectivity are the foundation of digital transformation including 5G intelligent mobile networks. These fundamental techniques are related to advanced technological innovations such as robots, AI, nanotechnology, Industry 4.0, quantum computers, IoT, autonomous vehicles, etc. They are also an important key to the next stage of technological development in Taiwan.
In this month’s newsletter, we focus on the research of telecom networks, open radio access networks (O-RAN), Antenna Systems, 5G and 6G techniques, etc. There are outstanding researchers from various fields of expertise who have proposed novel applications. By highlighting their performance, we aim to find novel technologies and practice results, in order to provide an introduction to Digital Transformation. It will not only accelerate the realization of smart life, but will also continue to lead Taiwan’s academia-industry innovation and enhance international competitiveness.
